SRA Welcomes New Executive Director
Singapore Retailers Association (SRA) warmly welcomes Mr Stephen Sing as our new Executive Director, effective 1 May 2024. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Ms Rose Tong, who will end her tenure as the Association’s Executive Director come 1st April 2024 after leading SRA for the past 7 years.
Rose has been instrumental in advancing the vision of SRA and the Singapore Retail Industry through her dedication and visionary leadership and unwavering commitment through various projects implemented over the past few years. Her passion and tireless efforts have been pivotal in shaping the association and the community, and the SRA Council Members and secretariat are immensely grateful for her contributions. We wish Rose all the best in her future endeavours.
Stephen is no stranger to the Retail Industry having previously served as SRA’s Executive in Residence and current as the Industry Transformation Advisor under the Singapore Business Federation where he worked hand in hand with Retail SMEs to implement business transformation projects. His extensive career spans multiple sectors, including wholesale, retail, education, and media. Stephen has held significant roles in strategy development at the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), Singapore Institute of Retail Studies (SIRS), and KLC International Institute. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore (NUS).
We seek the continued support of our SRA Members, retail stakeholders, government agencies and trade association and are confident in Stephen’s leadership to continue to advance our initiatives under the Retail ITM 2025 and SRA Roadmap 2025 for the Retail Industry to foster innovation, promote globalisation and drive business growth. Together let’s continue to strive for excellence and create a vibrant future for the Singapore retail sector.
