* A “new hire” is defined as an individual with at least 2 years of working experience, who previously held a different PMET job role or came from another industry.

The Career Conversion Programme for Retail Professionals and Associates (CCP-RPA) is administered by the Singapore Retailers Association. It supports employers in reskilling mid-career Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMETs) and non-PMETs who are taking on new or redesigned job roles in the retail sector.
The programme runs for 3 to 6 months and covers two tracks: hiring new talent from adjacent industries, and redesigning jobs for existing employees to build higher-value capabilities. Employers receive salary support of up to 90% during the on-the-job training period.
Note: Long-term Unemployed (LTU) is defined as being unemployed and actively seeking employment for six months or more.
