The Monthly Retail Sales Index (RSI) measures changes in the total sales receipts of retail establishments in Singapore. Published by the Singapore Department of Statistics, it serves as a key economic indicator for tracking consumer spending patterns and the health of the retail sector.
Alongside the RSI, the Food & Beverage Services Index (FSI) tracks monthly performance across restaurants, fast food outlets, food caterers and other F&B establishments — providing a comprehensive view of Singapore's dining and hospitality landscape.
